A solar power plant with a capacity of 70.8 kW began operating in a hospital in the Poltava region. Together with batteries, the solar power plant will power critical equipment for up to four hours. This will allow medical professionals to continuously provide necessary assistance to patients, reducing the risks associated with power outages.
The project was implemented under the “Light for Hospitals” program, coordinated by the Yellowblue Force Foundation with support from Ukraine’s Ministry of Health. The project cost is 4 million UAH, with funding for the solar power plant provided by the Swedish donor Timmermansorden. The installation of the power plant was supported by the Ecoclub NGO.
